I was really quite surprised when I ventured on over to Boner Material and saw a subreddit with quite a unique feature: there was literally no sidebar to check out! Honestly: I’ve looked at over 300 subreddits in the last 2 months or so and none of them had this feature, which I found quite cool. From what I can tell, /r/BonerMaterial is a pretty lax subreddit that allows people to post any porn they want. So let’s begin here and talk about the fact that /r/BonerMaterial was created over 7 years ago in June of 2012. This is actually quite an old destination – I’m surprised it hasn’t had a bunch of rules added to it over the years! It would appear that they’re doing something right: over 230,000 readers since its inception and it grows by around 2,000 followers every single week. If we go ahead and hit the sort by new tab, you’ll see that /r/BonerMaterial receives around 15 new posts on a daily basis. This isn’t all that high to be honest, and I’m slightly disappointed owing to the fact that Boner Material doesn’t have any strict rules or anything else – I expected more!

Subjective taste of the Boner Material porn situation

Okay, so do the posts here actually bring out erections in the users that visit? To find out, I decided to sort the year of content based on rating alone to see what /r/BonerMaterial considers to be worthy of an erection. Around half of the submissions were to GFYCat, which I’ve recently started to love, since I know all of my fans at Mr. Porn Geek enjoy those short, sexy clips. I decided to pick out a favorite image for you and a clip so you can get a vibe for what Boner Material offers. In the still photography department, this hot selfie of a skinny babe in lingerie was the clear winner. For the video – a pair of sexy redheads kissing one another like straight girls playing for the first time.

Okay, so all things considered, Mr. Porn Geek has mixed feelings on Boner Material. I really love the fact that they have seemingly no rules here (at least, none that I can see) and you’ve got a whole host of porn niches to enjoy. On the downside, submissions here are relatively uncommon: I really would have expected a lot more given the freedom that’s offered! Anyway, I’d say that checking back once every 3 months or so is a good idea, but this won’t be a daily visit for someone that wants to squeeze their hog.
