Downscaling does make streams look a lot better, so even if you don’t have the bandwidth set for a full HD show, being able to see it in 720p and 480p is still great. I have suggested to Cam4 via their support email that they provide punters with the ability to access feeds in lower resolutions, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for a positive outcome. StripChat

One of the newest platforms on the block, although it launched in 2016, so hardly a completely fresh face. What I love about StripChat is the fact that it has become the biggest cam platform out there by total user count – they also offer 1080p streams at the top end. I’m pretty sure that one of the three places above is going to introduce 1440p streaming at some point – probably by 2025. The penetration of monitors in this resolution is growing at a reasonable rate according to Steam, so I can really see it being a viable way to watch content in the near future.
