The sex toys subreddit: is it any good?

You’ll likely know by now that Mr. Porn Geek has a love-hate relationship with this platform. Reddit used to be based as fuck back in the day, but now it’s relatively cringe with anti-Trump spam and ‘capitalism bad’ all over the front page 24/7/365. The last bastion of awesomeness here is the adult entertainment arm of the platform, so that’s what I’m keen on talking about in this review. Does /r/SexToys have what it takes to get an endorsement from MPG? Read below and my full review is going to fill you in on what you need to know.

Some initial thoughts on SexToys

Before going any further, I want to make it clear that most posts here are not erotic in nature – it’s essentially a place for you to find out information on toys that you can purchase, what people think about various suppliers and that type of thing. There are around 50 posts on a daily basis that cover a huge variety of topics: suction vibrators in the shower, simulated threesomes, whether anal beads are popular and that type of thing. People also post reviews of suppliers and offer their own stuff up – although they have a rule that non-porous toys are all that can be sold here, which seems totally reasonable.

How MPG thinks /r/SexToys stacks up

I’ve decided to give this spot a 4-star review: for what it offers, I do think it’s awesome, but I know a lot of readers don’t want me to be pointing them toward resource information when they’re actually interested in watching girls with vibrators player. The fact of the matter is that it’s great at what it does, but not everyone reading this is going to get what they want from it. The bottom line is that MPG rates /r/SexToys and you should visit if you really want to talk shop, but if you’re going here to jerk, it’s not going to give you what you want.
