MPG pays a visit to Itch.io
Itch.io has been out for quite some time now – basically, any type of browser-based game that you could be interested in, they likely have it waiting for you. In this review, MPG wants to look at the options in their gay area: there are adult releases here, so it’s prudent for me to explore and show you the various choices you’ve got if this is your cup of tea. Itch also has straight options too, so if you’re bisexual and want the best of both worlds, it might be the greatest place to get exactly what you want.
First thoughts on Itch’s gay collection
When you land here, Itch.io shows you all of their tagged gay content – there are over 70 options right now, many of which are played in the browser, with the rest being downloadable for most platforms (Apple, Linux and Windows are typically always supported for all games). Art styles are varied, as are the underlying themes. You’ve got femboys, furry content, jocks, twinks and fantasy RPGs – pick your poison and go from there! Itch is free and you can even upload your own games for others to play, but I think most readers are just here to play and have a great time! Games are sorted based on popularity which is cool, but you can also do it by ratings and recency.
Should gay gamers use Itch?
Quite a lot of the games here aren’t available anywhere else on the Internet: Itch has quite a lot of users and has created quite a name for itself over the years in the gaming space. MPG is happy to give this his seal of approval, although it’s not just gay games or, indeed, adult-themed games in general. Still, dozens of choices and hours of fun await if you’re a gay gamer!
- Clean and simple platform
- Fast download speeds
- Plenty of browser games
- Some unfinished titles
- Not devoted to gay games
