MrPornGeek
Founder & CEO at MrPornGeek
I’m the founder of MrPornGeek. I’ve been running this site since 2016. In that time I’ve reviewed thousands of adult sites. That’s not a brag by the way, it’s more of a confession. When people ask me what I do for a living the conversation either gets very interesting or very awkward very quickly. But someone’s got to do it and it turns out I’m pretty good at it.
Role at MrPornGeek
I run the whole thing. CEO, founder, head reviewer, final decision maker on everything that goes on the site. Strategy, partnerships, content direction, what gets reviewed, what gets removed, who gets hired, all of it comes through me. I still personally test and review sites myself which is something most people running platforms this size stopped doing years ago. But that’s the difference isn’t it. I’m not some suit sitting in an office reading reports about what the site should be doing. I’m the one actually doing it. Every review standard on MrPornGeek exists because I set it. Every site that makes it onto the platform got there because it passed my bar. And every site that got pulled got pulled because I decided it wasn’t good enough anymore. The team handles a lot of the day to day now but nothing major happens without me knowing about it and signing off on it.
Professional experience
-
CEO & Founder - MrPornGeek - 2016 - Present
Founded the platform and built it from a solo operation into a full team of developers, writers, and researchers. Run the business day to day, from content direction to partnerships to quality control across everything that goes live on the site.
-
Founder, Live Cams Site - 2012 to 2016
Built and ran a cam site from the ground up. Handled everything from platform development to model recruitment to payment processing. Four years of learning how the adult industry actually works from the inside, not just reviewing it from the outside. That hands on experience with running a live platform is a big part of why MrPornGeek reviews are as thorough as they are.

Real Estate - Over a Decade
Started young buying and renovating properties, reinvesting the profits into bigger deals each time. What began with individual flips gradually evolved into financing and managing much larger redevelopment projects. Real estate teaches you resilience, negotiation, and how to solve problems fast because they never stop coming. That mentality carried straight into everything I built after.
How I ended up here
I didn’t grow up dreaming about reviewing adult sites, obviously! I first started in real estate at just 16 and grinded it out for over a decade. That’s when I took the leap into the adult industry and decided to launch my own cam site, which ended up being a very bad idea. Four years of blood, sweat, and bandwidth went into building that thing and just when it was getting somewhere, the whole operation went sideways. The site got hacked. The dev had the credit card payment page in test/demo mode for one night while something was being tested.
Some user figured out how to rack up a mountain of tokens during that window onto their accounts, went on a spending spree tipping and flooding the chat rooms with tips while we were sleeping. The site wasn’t even properly public at that point. We were getting maybe 20 users a day visiting the site. The chances of someone not only finding the site, signing up, spotting the vulnerability, and having the technical know how to exploit it in that tiny window were next to nothing. But it happened. Woke up the next morning to absolute carnage. 7 hours was all it took. All the camgirls still had to be paid out and I had to take the hit on every single penny of it. We’re talking hundreds of thousands of dollars that came straight out of my pocket. Yeah, that one hurt…
With the motivation pretty much flatlined, the real turning point came when I tried getting the cam site listed on what is now a competitor’s site, TPD. Got told no because the site was “too new.” At first, that was kind of annoying. But then it got me really thinking. Why does one guy get to decide who’s visible and who isn’t? That’s when all the pieces started clicking into place, and MrPornGeek was born. Built to give every site a fair chance, including new start-ups, and every user an honest review.

What I actually do all day
People think running a porn review site is just sitting around watching videos all day. I wish. The reality is way less exciting. I pick a niche every week and dig into it properly. Signing up to sites, clicking through every page, checking if the free stuff is actually free or if there’s a paywall hiding behind every third click, reading terms and conditions that were clearly written to confuse people on purpose, checking download speeds, looking at mobile versions, testing customer support response times. The boring stuff that nobody sees but everyone benefits from.
Then there’s the rechecking. I’ve got thousands of reviews live on the site right now and sites change all the time. What was decent six months ago might be full of ads and broken links today. I go back through 20 to 30 sites every day on a rolling basis, so each one gets looked at multiple times a year. If something’s gone downhill it gets flagged and if it’s bad enough, it gets deleted from the site. Nothing just stays on the site forever without being held to the same standard it was reviewed at.
Sorting the real from the rubbish
I’ve been doing this long enough now to spot a scam site within about 5 seconds of landing on it. The layouts all look the same. Fake chat windows, countdown timers pressuring you to sign up, too good to be true offers that absolutely are too good to be true. For every genuinely decent platform there are dozens that exist purely to part you from your money or infect your computer with something nasty. That’s why only about 1 in 10 sites I review actually end up on MrPornGeek. The bar is high because it needs to be. If I start making bad recommendations people stop trusting the site and then what’s the point.
The team behind it
I started this on my own but it’s not a one man show anymore. There’s a full team behind MrPornGeek now. Developers keeping the platform running and building new features, writers producing content, researchers digging into niches and working out what we should be covering next. I still make every major decision and I still personally review sites but the team is what allows MrPornGeek to cover as much ground as it does.
Why honest reviews matter
The adult industry has a massive trust problem. Most review sites are just glorified ad platforms where whoever pays the most gets the best rating. Users know this which is why nobody trusts anything they read anymore. That’s the gap MrPornGeek fills. The reviews on here reflect what I actually found when I tested the site. Not what someone paid me to say. I’ve got a reputation to protect and if I start pushing rubbish then people stop coming back. That keeps me honest even on the days when it would be easier not to be. If you’ve got a problem with something I’ve recommended I want to hear about it. Sites change after reviews go up and if something’s gone wrong I need to know so I can deal with it.

Outside of work
When I’m not testing sites or running the business, I’m usually on a golf course, out swimming, or trying not to embarrass myself surfing. Being out on the water is the one thing that properly switches my brain off from work. Hard to think about bounce rates when you’re getting smacked around by waves. That said, some of the best ideas for new features and direction for the site have come to me while I’m out surfing or just doing something completely unrelated to work. Funny how that works. I’m not really a drinker anymore like I was in my younger days, don’t smoke, don’t really have any bad habits. The only addiction I’ve got is grinding on this site every day of the week, and I don’t see that changing any time soon.
