Rule 34 Comics Reddit – my official analysis

Before I jump into this review on a community known as Rule 34 Comics, I just want to help those people out who aren’t too familiar with what exactly ‘rule 34’ is. To explain it in as fewer words as possible, many years ago someone made a list of the ‘rules of the Internet’, and #34 on that list was that if something exists, there’s porn of it. Today, it basically refers to the fact that any object in the universe can be sexualized. This can sometimes be dumb stuff like fridges, planets and atoms or whatever, but more often than not, it’s used for characters from TV shows, video games and anime series that people want to see doing naughty things. If you know about the concept of parody from doujinshi, it’s quite like that. If not, then I guess go to Wikipedia or some shit. I’ve got a review to write, so I can’t sit around here defining concepts all day!

First opinions on Rule34_Comics

I’m a man that loves objective characteristics and I think it’s vitally important for a tight ship on Reddit to have decent metrics associated with it – that’s why I’m going to begin here by looking at the numbers situation on /r/Rule34_Comics. To begin with, this is a relatively average-age community that was created back in July of 2013 – not too young but not too old either. Since its creation, Rule 34 Comics has managed to amass a loyal following of just over 168,000 people – soon to be +1 if they happen to be half-decent! Now my last objective test here is going to be the flow of new material, which is … sadly very disappointing. When we sort links by new, you’ll see that /r/Rule34_Comics has only managed to link to 25 posts in the last 17 days. Incredibly sluggish rate – too bad!

Trying the content on /r/Rule34_Comics

So to test the content here, I’m going to look at the all-time top rated submissions. I prefer to keep this on a monthly or yearly restriction, but I’m not so sure that’s going to work, since this place has seemed rather baron as of late. Aside from the stupid joke #1 link that was some guy posting in the wrong community, you’ve got an actually fairly decent collection of NSFW comics here. Lots of series that I think plenty of guys who follow the ‘scene’ will know about, including Harry Potter, Gravity Falls, Star Wars and Legend of Zelda parodies. Anyone who’s looking for saucy comics based on these themes is going to have a field day and then some after coming here. Talk about giving your hog the ultimate squeeze.

Conclusion on Rule 34 Comics

What does Mr. Porn Geek think of Rule 34 Comics as a whole? My advice is that you ought to head on over to this subreddit and look at the top rated stuff – I don’t think you’re going to get much pleasure out of checking back every few days for just the handful of links that might be there waiting for you. The content is good and I think with most posts on a regular basis, this place would be swinging. Sadly, it’s not in that current state, so while I can give it a thumbs up, Rule 34 Comics doesn’t get the hardcore, ultra valuable seal of approval. It’s good but not great: too bad! Cheers for reading and check back here on Mr. Porn Geek’s review platform whenever you need fresh links to the best NSFW Reddit spots.
