My honest review of /r/Hentai

You’ve probably noticed over the last few months that Mr. Porn Geek has really started to beef up his game when it comes to anime porn. Hentai is fast becoming one of the most popular types of content out there and as artwork gets better and better, guys are starting to stroke themselves more and more over those perfect Japanese pixels. Today, I’m going to point you toward the second largest animated porn subreddit, which goes by the convenient name of /r/Hentai. Read down below as I venture forth and explain what this Reddit spot has to offer!

The numbers on /r/Hentai

The Hentai subreddit was created back in June of 2008, making it a pretty old destination for NSFW content on Reddit. In July of 2019, they hit over 500,000 subscribers, making it one of the most subscribed to places for this type of material. In fact, the only subreddit which has more followers that is devoted to non-real porn is Rule34, which has around 640,000 subscribers at the time of writing this review. I do recommend subscribing to that one as a side note – both are promoting the same style of content more often than not. Anyway, /r/Hentai currently has one of the most regular upload schedules around, with 100 new pieces of content in the last 7 hours alone. Out of the top 30 subreddits, this one beats them all for frequency of material!

Trying some of Reddit’s hentai

It’s no good me reviewing this place without trying some of the hentai out, right? I decided it was a good idea to look at the best submissions of the last week and was pleased to see plenty of top-tier hentai put right in front of me. I use the old Reddit design and all of the posts were able to be shown just using the standard dropdown button that loads content in the page for me – cool feature! You’ll notice something here that you might not on other hentai places I’ve recommended: nothing can feature anyone under the age of 18, even though the characters would be purely fictional. Reddit doesn’t allow loli content, so you’re going to be out of luck if that’s what gets you off.

Hentai on Reddit: my final remarks

I’m not someone who jerks off to hentai on a daily basis (maybe once a month if I’m feeling frisky), but if I did and I used Reddit, you better believe that I’d be following /r/Hentai. For me, the biggest selling point here is just the fact that you get so much fucking content to look through. Like I said – one of the busiest NSFW subreddits when it comes to content, so if you like the sexy Japanese babes to flow quick, get yourself over here sooner rather than later.
