Fun fact: there are around 10 or so subreddits devoted to ‘gone wild’ themes on Reddit that have more followers than /r/GWNerdy and all of them use the words ‘gone wild’ instead of GW: this is – as far as I know – one of the few places that opts to instead shorten the words into just GW. That’ll be your only fun fact of this review, so I hope you enjoyed it! Yeah – today’s the day that I check out /r/GWNerdy and let you know my thoughts and feelings regarding it. Let’s crack on and see what this community has to offer, shall we? I hope you’re as excited as I am!

First analysis on GW Nerdy

Since we’re in a place that’s supposed to be all about brains and nerdiness, let’s go ahead here and look at the objective facts and figures surrounding this community. For a start, /r/GWNerdy was created back in May of 2013, making it over 6 years old at the time of writing this review. It currently has just over 240,000 subscribers which makes it somewhere around 100th on a list of NSFW communities by raw follower count. Next up: the rate at which links are added. If we use the header link to sort submissions by new, you’ll see that roughly 10 posts are added here on a daily basis. This isn’t exactly terrible, but I think that GW Nerdy is on the lower bound if what I’d consider acceptable. Subreddits run on content, so if you haven’t got any – well, people are going to have issues with your subreddit!

Trying out /r/GWNerdy content

Let’s go ahead and look at the top rated submissions on /r/GWNerdy from the last year – this ought to show us what’s hot and what’s not when it comes to the community expectations of the content. There are plenty of different angles here for nerdiness, including an interest in video game culture, certain ‘high IQ’ shows (like Star Trek) and some chicks just wearing glasses while they hold a book. Overall, I’d say that GW Nerdy isn’t all that bad in the content department. I’m not overly into this appeal or aesthetic, but I know that plenty of gamers out there are going to be going on a hog squeezing mission with all of the smut that /r/GWNerdy has.

GW Nerdy: my final thoughts on the subreddit

This is probably one of the biggest NSFW hubs on Reddit where you’ll finx X-rated submissions featuring girls that love video games, TV shows and other geeky things. I had a good time here and while the flow of content is slow, the fact the entries are all sourced from users is pretty damn fantastic. It isn’t the best subreddit I’ve come across, but you can still get a good stroke in here if you love nerdy babes. Mission accomplished for these guys – you get an A from Mr. Porn Geek.
