XTapes Review

If you’ve been browsing random tube websites lately you’ve likely ran into XTapes . XTapes has been around for a while now gaining popularity within the adult community due to their high volume of free streaming content and lack of obnoxious signup prompts. Right there is one thing I can tell you that sets them apart from many newer clone-style tube websites.

XTapes has very minimal browsing interruption. I load the homepage and am immediately greeted with trending videos, recent uploads, and categories without any fluffy designs getting in my way. Navigation is quick, categories aren’t overwhelming, and the entire website loads relatively quickly even when digging into the archive pages.

Speaking of content, there’s tons of variety on XTapes. Seriously, they have everything. If you’re looking for a website that specializes in one type of content this isn’t it. Amateur content, professional studio scenes, leaked videos, uploads, creator videos, compilations, VR porn, small clips, full scenes. You name it, they probably have it mixed in with thousands of other thumbnails on their website.

Search works fairly well and actually returns results closely related to your search query. Something small, but many amateur tube sites send you to completely unrelated videos that aren’t relevant at all. You also get thumbnail previews so you can identify if the video is even what you want before clicking on it. Shoulders shouldersnee these kinds of basic functions.

My only gripe is there ads could be annoying. Now don’t get me wrong, their ads aren’t the worst I’ve seen painted on a website. BUT there are some intermittent popup ads and redirect prompts that are triggered based on what device you’re watching on and whether or not you have an adblocker enabled. I’ve also seen comments from other users about xtapes thumbnails not loading properly when using adblock filters. Thumbnails are usually tied to ads these days, so that isn’t all that uncommon with video stream websites.

The layout is fairly simplistic and clean. Mobile website works well and loads fast. Videos open quickly and playback was smooth during my testing. There wasn’t much buffering at all either which is great. Video quality is decent across all resolutions as well. Overall XTapes is a great free resource for those that want access to large amounts of free porn without a million screens popping ups. Website doesn’t try to be anything it’s not, which keeps it simple for casual use and browsing. Videos aren’t categorized like some of the big boy sites, so expect to do some digging if you’re looking for something specific. But for scrolling through thousands of videos I couldn’t recommend it more.
