Mr. Porn Geek always loves these types of destinations because for the most part, horny dudes around the planet are willing to jerk themselves silly to what’s on offer here. I must say that PornHD3x also does a good job of letting you find more scenes by scrolling down and looking through the pagination sections. They’ve also got a sister site for JAV content if that interests you, but for now, I’m just going to be looking at what PornHD3x brings to the table.

Studios at PornHD3x

One small complaint I have about this spot is that under their ‘category’ area, they’ve got a bunch of studios instead. It’s not the end of the world, but you could just call this specific area ‘studios’ and then have a location for those that want to find a specific type of material. You’ll find that Brazzers3x hosts smut from the best of the best, and I’m able to see a lot of top producers with content on here. We’re talking about the likes of Latina Sex Tapes, MILF Hunter, BangBros 18, Fake Taxi and Elegant Anal: a nice selection and range of smut to cover all of the bases. As I said though – don’t expect to find anything genuinely amateur here. All of the releases are going to be from large studios and while you might stumble across a few new faces to the game, everyone involved in these uploads is being paid cash money for their participation.

Watching a PornHD3x scene

So to test this place out, I selected a scene and let it load up. All of the content is embedded on the platform and would appear to stream in 720p almost always. I think I noticed one 1080p upload, but for the most part, you’re getting the lower end of the HD spectrum. There are no quality options here either: what you see is what you get. What I find quite strange is that the homepage’s title says ‘download’, but there are no download buttons here: it’s a streaming service and essentially functions as a tube, although perhaps less functionality as a whole. I’d really like to see them make use of the side areas of the scene section for associated videos or meta information. Right now, it’s basically just the video and not much else. Videos seemed to play without buffering issues, and if you scrub to a section of the video that hasn’t loaded yet, you’ll be waiting maybe 3 to 5 seconds for it to fully load and be good to go. Pretty decent if you ask me! You can hack the ‘inspect element’ feature on your browser to download videos if you really want to: the speed is okay, but I’d only bother doing this if you really want to have a local copy of whatever upload it is. The good news is that this site has been around for a while, so they’ve got thousands of videos for you to look through – it’s great stuff!

Some downsides of PornHD3x

I like to balance out all of my reviews with details regarding downsides, and for me, the most obvious problem with PornHD3x is that it spams you quite a bit with adverts, popups and that type of thing. It’s quite a pain in the ass, and I understand that these sites have to make money to survive – but I’m still going to complain regardless. They really need to have a tag or category section too – what if I only want to watch incest videos, or anal? You currently can’t do that, and while there is a search function that lets you get a little bit close, this is very much a spot that gives you access via the studios rather than the genres.

There are a few things left to be desired when it comes to PornHD3x, but on the whole, they’re doing a great job. I’m confident that with a few patches and changes, they’ll have no issues becoming a super destination for anyone that wants hardcore content online. PornHD3x doesn’t appear to be bogged down with tons of fancy menus, confusing filters, and intrusive design choices. Once users arrive at the homepage, they are greeted with newly uploaded videos and can start clicking through scenes at a respectable pace. Some users may prefer this to a website that lets the design get in the way of functionality. It isn’t flashy, but the layout is intuitive. When all a user wants to do is open a website, click on a video, and watch porn, PornHD3x has got you covered.

Great website for those who prefer studio browsing

While PornHD3x lists its studio section as categories, browsing by studio is still helpful. A lot of users prefer searching by individual niches/tags, but some like to go right to the studio names. Or let’s say someone is specifically in the mood for Fake Taxi videos, BangBros productions, or MILF Hunter. They can simply look under those studio names rather than digging through categories to find videos produced by them.

As mentioned above, PornHD3x’s most notable feature is that users can watch tons of porn for free! Who doesn’t like that? Sure, it’ll have some ads, and sure, the website isn’t the best looking. But you’re getting a ton of full-length HD videos completely free of charge. PornHD3x doesn’t make users create an account, sign up for a free trial, or search for password leaks. Visitors can hop on, browse around, and watch as much PornHD3x as their heart desires.

PornHD3x’s homepage seems to pull from newer uploads. This is great because when users visit a porn tube website and it looks like it hasn’t been updated in decades, certain assumptions are made. Giving users something to look forward to when they come back, rather than treating the website as a one-time stop.

Perfect website for those who don’t like frills

PornHD3x isn’t looking to be the next premium porn website. It doesn’t have to hold your hand with custom accounts, fancy algorithms, and shiny watch-history pages. PornHD3x’s simplicity is perfect for those who just want to find some porn and watch it. Simple website, skip the bullshit.

Negative side of PornHD3x:

Website is filled with too many adverts and popups

As great as PornHD3x is for handing out free videos, it seriously needs to get a handle on how many adverts and popups it uses. I completely understand putting advertisements on a free porn website. What I don’t understand are enormous popup ads that spawn every five minutes when watching videos. Free porn can be annoying to watch sometimes, but when porn websites start acting malicious or sketchy, users will think you don’t have anything good to offer and leave. PornHD3x needs to tighten the reins on its popup system.

Categories just list studios, not actual genres or niches

PornHD3x breaks my heart a little because it literally has a Categories section that just fills up with studio names. Users looking for certain niches such as anal, milf, cosplay, interracial, voyeur, etc. will have a field day trying to find what they want since PornHD3x decided copying and pasting studio names into its category section was a better idea than actually letting users browse by category.

Extremely weak filtering options

PornHD3x could benefit so much by just adding a few extra perks that most porn websites these days offer. Filters, tags, performer names, specific niche labels, and a similar videos section would help out so much. As of right now, users are basically just left to skim through homepage videos, search bars, pagination, and studio links. Nothing wrong with that, but it makes hopping to a similar video from one you just finished watching near impossible.

No video quality preferences

Again, no biggie, but most videos load in 720p. There doesn’t appear to be any options to switch between qualities such as 480p, 720p, 1080p, etc. I get that this is a free website that wants you to just watch the video and leave, but we all love to sit there and crank that quality up as high as it will go.

Website watch pages have almost no metadata

Another downside to PornHD3x is how barren the website’s watch pages appear to be. Not much information on the website’s actual video watch pages. Users get the video but nothing else. No extra information on what pornstars may be in the video, what studio filmed it, tags, similar videos, upload date, length, or anything else related to the video you’re watching. There is almost zero reason for users to spend more time on the watch page rather than bouncing to the next video.

Website homepage states download but there are no easy download options

This may be more of a personal gripe. But the PornHD3x homepage title says download yet once you’re watching a video, there isn’t any easy download option visible on the page. PornHD3x functions more as a porn tube website rather than an actual download site. Sites shouldn’t give users misleading information about functionality.

Website isn’t ideal for users who love amateur content

PornHD3x is heavily focused on professional studio flicks. While this is PornHD3x’s biggest selling point, it’s also their biggest downside. If you’re looking for some good old-fashioned amateur action, homemade uploads, content created by the actual pornstars, or just something less corporatized, PornHD3x is probably not for you.

Website watch pages feel wasted

Related to the point above, the website could really benefit from using the side columns on the website watch pages. Displaying similar videos, studios that specialize in videos like the one you’re watching, trending videos, or even names of pornstars in the video you’re watching. Instead, users are met with a barren wasteland.

Search has too much load on top of it

Due to how weak the category/tag system is, the search bar has to do all the heavy lifting. Now don’t get me wrong, searching is great. But users should be able to effortlessly browse through categories, tags, studios, custom filters, performers, and related videos. PornHD3x makes you work too hard to find that specific video you’re looking for, even when you already know exactly what you want to search for.

Website branding is misleading

PornHD3x also goes by Brazzers3x. Now I’m not sure if these two websites are related or not. But users, and maybe even Google, get slightly confused when looking at the website. Is it PornHD3x or is it Brazzers3x? Would it kill them to state on the website what it’s actually called?

PornHD3x feels functional, not sexy

PornHD3x works, videos are actually HD and full-length, but visiting the website doesn’t feel polished by any means. PornHD3x needs to work on its navigation, categories, minimize the use of popups, and actually use the watch page instead of just throwing an embedded video on it. There is so much PornHD3x could do to stand out that they choose not to.

Could pose a threat to anti-advertisement virus scanners

We’ve all heard the stories, free porn websites are filled with viruses. While we can’t 100% confirm that PornHD3x is infected, I can tell you that if your computer has hypersensitive virus scanners for advertisements and popups, you’re going to hate watching PornHD3x. Yes people, even free websites can have malicious software. Just in case you were wondering. Use incognito mode, use an ad blocker, and always use common sense.
