Porn games online aren’t exactly hard to come by, but getting your hands on good material can be easier said than done. Mr. Porn Geek has been looking far and wide across the Internet to source the latest and greatest in XXX gameplay and for this review, I’m going to be looking at one such hub that promises to bring you top-tier information on the best games out there. It goes by the name of Sankaku Complex and from what I’ve been reading, this place is all about Japanese-themed games that Western audiences can’t get enough of. I’m not sure whether or not SankakuComplex.com has enough to be rated at the top of Mr. Porn Geek’s list of best adult game websites, but let’s do the full review and determine whether or not it’s got the goods to be recommended!

The first thing we want to do whenever reviewing any website is to consider the initial impressions from the point of landing on the homepage. Sankaku Complex has a header with a few links, a small roll of adverts and then a list of the most recent posts added to the website. It looks as if this website isn’t just a place for porn games – they’ve also got news stories about titles and additional information on anime and some other topics. If you go further down, you’ll find a list of the most popular posts on the website and at the very bottom, a toggle that will show all adult content by default. I’m going to go through a few extra areas on the website before heading on over to Sankaku Complex’s video games, so let’s get to it.

Sankaku Complex’s extra areas

Since a lot of people into porn games are also into hentai, it stands to reason that they might have a particular desire to visit the anime page at SC. Do note that for these guys, almost all of the anime posts are X-rated, so you’re going to see stuff like kinky mouse pads of Fujisaki Haruka which are available for sale and naughty Chinese cosplayers that love to dress up before stripping down. Next up, I thought it’d be a great idea to visit the forums at Sankaku Compex: there are currently hundreds of posts across a decent number of sections on the site, all of which can be selected based on the category list at the top of the page. If you just want to see the most popular material, hit the ‘top’ option and you’ll find the threads most relevant to your interests. I have to admit that the community here is quite developed – it’s not just a collection of bots sharing hentai scenes or whatever. Take this thread of people sharing their latest Otaku purchases, for instance: these dudes just love erotic figurines of their favorite anime stars. There are over 250 posts and they’re all genuine contributions from people who are active on the website. It might not be the biggest weaboo meeting point, but it’s certainly an option to consider if you love meeting others who also share your obsession with Nihon culture.

I’ll let you know ahead of time that as far as I can tell, no games are actually available locally here on Sankaku Complex. Instead of being a host for porn titles, they merely give information and news on top-tier productions that you might be interested in. To better understand exactly what this place is about and why you might want to visit it, I’ll link a few of the posts and explain what’s going on in each of them. I don’t have many platforms like this one reviewed here on Mr. Porn Geek, so it’s something of a new experience if I’m being completely honest.

First up, the most recent post on Sankaku Complex (posted just 8 hours ago) talks about the official release of Dead or Alive 6’s free edition. Alongside a trailer embed, they also provide some meta information about the title, although one thing I’m slightly peeved about is that they don’t give a direct link for the PC download. Dead or Alive is a pretty popular Japanese fighting game franchise that has always been notable for its incredibly graphic content and sexy character options.

Alongside news, posts at Sankaku Complex also offer recommendations on titles to play. This post talks about Succubus Battles and shows some screenshots from the game as well as a little coverage of what you can expect when playing it. Unlike the first post, Sankaku Complex does link you to the place to download the demo and buy the full game if you’re interested in adding it to your collection. I think it’s fair to say that the team here are only really interested in professionally developed and published material: it’s not your 2010 Flash game hub but for many, I don’t think that’s going to be much of an issue.

One final thing I’ll mention is that not all of the posts are sexually related and sometimes, they just share interesting gaming news stories. Examples of this include a recent Sega Saturn addict who managed to collect all 1,057 games for the console – he even got a reply from the official Sega Twitter account. Sankaku Complex also gave a little coverage of the February firings of Activision Blizzard staff, something that the World of Warcraft community had serious issues with. I’d say that around 75% of the posts are erotic gaming related though, so if you’d rather stick to IGN or RPS for your daily dose of gaming news, you’re not going to have to sift through all that much to find posts you’d enjoy.

My final thoughts on Sankaku Complex

There aren’t any games here and that’s a bit of a problem, but if you’re more interested in real professional XXX titles then Sankaku Complex might be the hub of choice for you. Their focus on Japanese releases is particularly worth mentioning and I think ultimately, that will decide whether or not you’re going to visit this particular place on a regular basis. Love anime and hentai and want the best games associated with exactly that? Then Sankaku Complex is the go-to place. Prefer more low-quality Western releases that you can instantly play?
