Deep Mode: AI Girlfriend heaven?
You might not know this, but Mr. Porn Geek currently has a girlfriend – thankfully, she knows about my work, and I doubt she’s going to complain too much if I tell her that I’m going to play around with a virtual GF for a bit. See, I’m the Internet’s number one authority when it comes to adult reviews on sites that cater to us with discerning tastes – so how about I head on through to Deep Mode and see what this hub has to offer for punters that want a girlfriend in an instant? This spot claims to be able to give you perfect images, unique creations, great scenes and full control over what you see. The pitch is fantastic and the landing page looks good – but what happens when you go looking for the full experience here? Read below for Mr. Porn Geek’s honest, professional opinion on DeepMode.ai.
Playing with the Deep Mode demo
I always like to try things out like a regular user before doing my deep analysis, so let’s start with the demo: if you know me, you know I love Asian babes, so I opted for the Hitomi character as my default. After that, you’re presented with a few dropdown options to further hone your preferences. This includes art style (realistic, digital and anime), outfit (bikini, robe, lingerie), location and hair color. You’ll then hit the ‘create’ button and the website will render the result. With these types of prompts, the results are pretty decent – though I will argue that all of the projects out there right now seem to be using the same backend system to manage this stuff. I’m not totally against this as an idea, since we can still compare the spots when it comes to ease of use, general layout and design, the cost of doing business and so on.
There’s a pretty extensive FAQ section at the bottom of the website, so if you’ve got various questions, it’s probably best to check there and see what the score is. They’ve even got a refund policy – if you have no credits spent and request it within 7 days, they’re happy to go ahead and return what you spent. Most spots in the adult space don’t have any policy whatsoever when it comes to refunds, so the fact that this is available really is quite something. Deep Mode has also made it clear that they want to have videos at some point, but right now, they don’t have it as an option. I’ll make this point clear: other spots do have AI porn videos available for creation, so the sooner that this spot gets on top of that, the better.
Deep Mode community models
After signing up, you can visit the models page to find more girls. The demo only offered us a few ladies: one of them was a busty broad called hoppy floppy – not my cup of tea, but I’m sure a few users out there are into the whole BBW aesthetic with massive, swinging knockers. There’s a tanned chav-like girl called Emma, Molly Ben who’s a freckled brunette and Daiana Porto – a blue-haired Latina of sorts that looks like she’s a bit of a bitch. Remember that none of these girls are real, so if any of them look like a celebrity or something – that’s all in your head. There are a lot of names here that might make you think they’re supposed to be someone else: ignore them! I also found that there are a few guys here, with what seems to be a particular focus on Asian men with above average levels of muscularity. I’m not gay, but I’ve got to admire a hot piece of meat if I see one. These dudes are as delicious as they come, no homo.
Get free credits on Deep Mode
After you create an account, you’ll have the option to sign up for their newsletter – this will entitle you to 20 free credits to spend how you wish. I quite like this approach, especially since rivals are more than happy to just assume that you want the newsletter without asking you in the first place. The credits are used for creations, so feel free to experiment a little more – especially since when you create an account, you’ll unlock a bunch of new tools and gadgets to play around with. You can also look at AI images here that others have created without the need to spend any credits whatsoever. There are plenty of new themes that I found interesting: gamer, gym, church and so on. You can also create a higher number of results and fiddle with the resolution. Since this all uses GPU power, switching over to higher resolution is going to cost you twice as many credits, but if you’re confident that what you want is as prompted, it’s likely worth the extra expense. For me, when it comes to AI stuff, quality really does matter, and it’s worth paying the tiny amount of extra cash to make sure you’ll get something that looks really decent.
Credit pricing & final thoughts
Credits here cost $10 for 50, $40 for 200 and $100 for 500. You do get discounts for your first purchases of the larger packages. Since a standard image costs you 1 credit to create, this is equal to around 20 cents per prompt. That’s not inexpensive, but I’d imagine you’ve spent a bunch of money on unnecessary stuff this week alone – it’s all good when it comes to discretionary spending, right?
Mr. Porn Geek liked what Deep Mode had to offer, though I can’t just consider this hub in a vacuum. The simple fact of the matter is that they’re a little behind the competition, and I’d like to see them step up their game when it comes to offered features and tools if they really want to be taken seriously. Credit pricing is fine – nothing glorious – but the huge archive of created media is pretty awesome, and a clear advantage over everything else. Not the best, not the worst.
- Good image archive
- Free credits available
- Lifetime saved media
- No videos yet
- Average credit pricing
