HongKongDoll Review
https://x.com
HongKongDoll. If you’ve spent any amount of time on NSFW Twitter or Pornhub in the past few years you’ve almost certainly seen this name. If you haven’t, don’t worry I’ll try and give y’all a rundown of who she is and how she became what is legitimately one of the stranger success stories in adult content currently. Creator wearing a mask for every single video posted. Every. Single. One. Mask on face. That’s her brand. That’s all you see. And it works??? Goddamn it girl it really does work. She’s amassed over 600K on Instagram. Went viral on Pornhub. Has an OF that apparently has generated over $10 million dollars. You can’t even see her face selling content that does that. Question everything my children, because HongKongDoll taught me nothing is as horny as the internet thinks it should be.
Ok so her X account. For what it is…. it’s fine I guess? Turns out when you’re not posting like a western NSFW Twitter every few seconds there’s not a lot to say. Obviously she posts. Some of it is in Chinese. Some of it is in English. None of it feels like your run of the mill OF promo bot. Mixes in some vlogging about her day or thoughts on the side. Drops some crypto shitpost here and there. (I’ll get to that.) And litters the thread with some content samples.
Alright crypto crap. What I said. Cannot. be. overstated. LONG STORY SHORT: She lost an estimated $8 million dollars playing cryptocurrency. EIGHT MILLION. She somehow went from that to like $3 in her account before doubling down on crypto. She’s been pretty open about her adventure in crypto on her socials. At one point Hongkongdoll was trading 50x leveraged “fuck around and gamble” short contracts on ETH. Like…what?? Regular investors can’t figure out how the fuck to open a brokerage account without accidentally buying pennystocks.
The mask created this insane culture around who she looks like under there. Which, honestly, we wouldn’t know still if it weren’t for China finally implementing some sort of real-name registration shit for large influencers last year. Somebody doxxed her real id picture. Leaked it. viral “oh internet celebrity you had a happy new year? ?” style poster thing. Got posted on X. Shocking internet clapback shit ensued. People posting how they feel “lied to” and whatever else you’ll see when people spend too much time on the internet. But here’s the funny part. Sales DOUBLED. Now we see her face all day every day and her earnings haven’t dropped. Guess the mask was marketing at its finest but the product was good enough to stand on its own.
TLDR: Masked adult content creator popped her head for about a second on X then proceeded to have her identity leaked by the rest of the internet. Not sure how that makes anyone “lied to” but yeah. Scrolling through Hongkongdoll’s X timeline you’ll notice the samples she does drop are actually well filmed. We’re not talking shove your phone in one hand bullshit here. You can tell quality was put into the videos she posts. Sets. Lighting. Costumes. Editing. Real value is put into the visual aspect of her content. And from the looks of things she has enough content stashed away to continue keeping all her platforms stocked for the next 5-8 years.
Posting frequency on her X account specifically won’t wow you. Don’t come into this thinking you’re going to see 10+ posts a day. It’s sporadic. She’ll go days without posting and then dump like 5 vids at once. When she posts she gets a healthy amount of engagement. Thousands of likes. Retweets. Comments from what appears to be a very international audience speaking multiple languages in the same comment section. Her followers are majority Asian but you’ll see Chinese, English, Thai, Indonesian responses all over each other. It’s weird as fuck but in a satisfying way to look at sometimes.
She’s from Shanghai, lives in Hong Kong now. Speaks Cantonese. Moved to Hong Kong with her boyfriend who supposedly got her into the whole scene in the first place. If they’re still together these days remains to be seen. Honestly sounds like ex-boyfriend now.
One annoying aspect to her X is the amount of fake accounts. Literally search HongKongDoll on X and you get fifteen accounts pop up, most of them likely bot accounts trying to run stolen content. There are a lot of impostors out there. Be sure to verify you’re following the real girl.
Ultimately HongKongdoll’s X account acts more as a look into who HKD is and a promotion tool for her larger business. Content itself can be found on OF and other sites but her X account serves well in catching new fans and showcasing the type of content she offers. If you somehow haven’t heard her crypto story I’d check out her X before following. There’s a really unique story there that you don’t get with a lot of NSFW creators. Plus it’s funny af watching her cry over losing millions.
