Panthea: Mr. Porn Geek’s analysis

What’s going on, friends? If you’ve hit this page because you’re expecting me to give you a full review of Panthea – well look no further! I’m going to tell you the ins and outs of this title so that you can know what it’s about, whether or not it’s any good and yeah: get a little walkthrough guide of what you should do when initially playing this game. I’ve become something of an expert now when it comes to XXX titles, so let’s see how well Panthea stacks up, shall we? I’m excited to let you know my full thoughts and feelings on this one, so let’s get down to it and see what the deal is!

First thoughts on Panthea the game

I do want to let you know that I’m playing version 0.31 for this review – I will update the link in the sidebar if any new editions are released though. From what I can tell, this game gets patched quite often too, so there may be slight differences between what I mention and what you find on your own patch of the game. That shouldn’t matter though – you’re smart enough to figure out the small stuff yourself, right?

Anyway, when the game starts here on Panthea, you’re put right into the action with no splash screen to explain what’s going on or that type of thing. The setting is pretty interesting: I found myself in a very colorful house wearing a sexy outfit near one of my housemates who has very large bunny ears. Oh, there’s also a dildo on the bed and a cat looking up my skirt – just what the hell is going on here? There is a guide you can press should you need help, but I think most people can work it out for themselves – it’s just more enjoyable that way too. I was pleased to see that you could navigate around using both the clicking of your mouse and the WASD keys on your keyboard: this is a massive selling point when games know exactly what gamers expect! Props to the development team at Panthea for getting this right.

Progression through Panthea

I decided to talk to my house mate who says that my name is Casey – this is when you make your very first choice in Panthea. There are 4 different buttons you can press for various dialogs, including the ability to ask about her work, who her pet is and whether or not you can stay in her dorm room for a little longer. I decided to go for this last option, since I don’t want to rock up in the middle of the night and just assume that she’s okay with me staying over. Lana is more than understanding and although she says that her brother might come to stay, she’s totally fine with you staying for as long as you need to – aren’t bunny girls just the best? Always there to help out whenever you need it!

You can actually talk to her again to explore all of the dialog options – seems like you’re particularly interested in the pet’s penis for whatever reason too! Once you’ve done with the chatting, go ahead and click on the door: this is where you’ll be able to select various places around the city to engage in a whole suite of activities and conversations. Since it’s supposed to be a porn game, I decided that the beach would be my next destination of choice. Sadly, it was completely empty – likely owing to the fact that I went right in the early part of the morning. You’ll want to go to the office at some point where you’ll go through the stuff for your first day on the job – it’s not complicated, but follow the dialog and be sure to interact with absolutely everything that you’re able to interact with! That’s just a general piece of advice for every game out there anyway, right? At least that’s how I play them.

My final thoughts on Panthea

Although this game is technically still in alpha and hasn’t been fully released, Mr. Porn Geek had a lot of fun playing Panthea. The design of the levels is quite fun, the animation looks good and the character artwork shows you that this is a very modern title indeed. I have a few small complaints, but since it’s not out as a game yet, I’m not going to bitch and moan about the tiny little issues that the developers probably know all about. I ended up playing Panthea for a decent length of time and yeah – I can see anyone who does the same feeling right at home here. Bottom line: Panthea is a fun porn game that you ought to try out! Not easy, but super enjoyable once you get into the swing of things.
