Daughter for Dessert: Chapter 2 – my review

I’ve actually already written a review on Daughter for Dessert, but episode 2 is quite a distinct piece of content, so I figured I would write about this in a different review block. Daughter For Dessert: Chapter 2 is a follow-on from the first chapter, so you’re going to have to have a copy of that saved on your computer, since you can’t just jump straight away into the second part without doing the first! I know, it’s annoying, and no: Mr. Porn Geek isn’t going to give you his copy, because it has been completely optimised by the king of pornographic video games himself! Anyway, let’s get down to business and I’ll tell you all about Daughter for Dessert: Chapter 2.

My thoughts and feelings on Daughter for Dessert: Chapter 2

So the first thing I want to mention here is again – if you haven’t played the first edition of this game, go back and do exactly that! What I’m about to say isn’t going to make any sense, so just read on over to Chapter 1 for me and stop trying to jump ahead. It’d be like watching Game of Thrones Season 4 or something – you need to watch the first 3 to actually get what’s going on. Okay, now that I’m left with just the people who played Chapter 1, let me express how I feel about this particular release and whether or not it’s worth playing.

On the positive side of the game, I really like how the same style and approach of the content is available there for you – the artwork hasn’t shifted and the characters still have the same sex appeal that they had in the original release. Locations have changed a little and that’s fine as I’m concerned, plus the story does feel a little more … fleshed out compared to the first publication. I might be wrong here, but as far as Mr. Porn Geek is concerned, Chapter 2 takes a longer time to get to the ‘good stuff’ as opposed to how quickly it came along in Chapter 1. Both of your favorite girls are there to enjoy too, so as long as you didn’t do anything crazy in the original title, you’re going to be having a fantastic time here.

On the negative side of things, I actually slightly dislike the fact that you have to link your previous playthrough to the modern version. There are going to be some folks that lost their save or have another reason not to be able to transfer over to the new chapter – giving a ‘blank slate’ save would be a cool feature. I actually had to go through and play Chapter 1 again, since I didn’t save it the first time when I wrote a full review on it. This makes a lot of sense to me, and while I understand that options are important for some folks – others just want to enjoy a great incest game where they get to fuck a daughter and other chicks that come along for the ride. I also had a few issues with loading times, but nothing more than a few seconds – it may be a personal computer problem, but either way it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Final thoughts on Daughter for Dessert: Chapter 2

If you enjoyed chapter 1 of Daughter for Dessert, you’re probably going to want to play Chapter 2. It doesn’t deviate too much from the original game in terms of theme or controls, so you’re going to love it just as much as you did before. There are new scenes here, fresh dialog and yeah – plenty of family friendly fun to be had by everyone! Daughter for Dessert is a great series of games and I might write up on Chapter 3 if it’s required. For now though, I’m just going to say that if you’ve made it this far into my review, it’s a good idea just to play Daughter for Dessert: Chapter 3 and enjoy!
